Why the Northeast?

Posted by admin On June - 28 - 2012 Comments Off

Reason #1 – More Northeasterners need Jesus than any other US region.   The map shows 26 of the 34 US Metropolitan Areas (MSA’s) with the lowest evangelical percentage. Click on each marker to see the city and the percentage of evangelicals present. Two are barely above 2%! The vast majority of these needy MSA’s are in the northeast. Since 55 million people live in the 9 northeastern states, it is also the most populous region of the country. These states include New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New England (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut).    THIS REALITY MEANS LOSTNESS IS GREATER IN THE NORTHEAST THAN ANY OTHER REGION.  Would you consider adopting one of these cities and helping plant churches there?   Reason #2 – The evangelical church is growing the most in the Northeast!  God is at work in the Northeast. Why Church Planting?

Our System for Success

Posted by admin On June - 28 - 2012 Comments Off

Our church planting system includes six components: Each of these is vital for effective  church planting efforts. If you are looking for assistance in one of these areas as a planter or a church planting leader, we may be able to help you or point you to others who could help you. These components are designed to support a wide variety of church planting approaches or models, whether they are more traditional approaches to starting new churches or some of the newer approaches that could involve bi-vocational or non-funded church planting leaders. Some of these could include, but are not limited to simple church networks, missional communities, multi-housing approaches, etc. While each of these elements may be adjusted from one new church to another, each is vital for every new church to thrive.                                Share on Facebook
